hereinafter referred to “as our clients”.
We have been briefed by our clients to register their grievances cum criminal activities being perpetrated by the Executive Director (ENGR. TAIWO ADEWOLE) of Okitipupa Oil Palm
Company (OOPC) overtime.

Our clients double as law abiding citizens of Ondo State and Palm Oil merchants fully registered with Okitipupa Oil Palm Company (OOPC).

We have been specifically briefed by our clients to wit:

  1. that our client No.1 (MRS. MODE COMFORT AENDELE) duly informed us that, she maintains business relationship as one of the registered customers of Okitipupa Oil Palm Company (OOPC) far back 1974, and also serve as anchor person to clients No.2 – 8.
  2. that our clients painstakingly observed that ever since the emergence of Engr. Taiwo Adewole as Executive Director of OOPC, several complaints bothering on breach of contracts; fraudulent conversion; gangsterism; maladministration and treacherous acts were lodged against Engr. Taiwo Adwole and in all of the above, our clients among others are at the receiving end, hence, Executive Director fraudulently collected several millions of naira with the guise of leasing acres of palm trees and succeeded in inflicting on them an irreparable loss.
  3. In consonance with paragraph 2 above, (a) our client No.2 MRS. EWEGBEMI MOJISOLA paid the sum of Eight Million, Two Hundred Thousand (N8,200,000.00) only to the Executive Director Engr. Taiwo Adewole and (b) MRS. ALABA

Thousand Naira (N5,500,000.00) only to the Executive Director and

(f) MR. SUNDAY OYENEYIN this our particular client, duly informed us that the Executive Director collected his own portion from him without the expiration of his lease term stated and he almost died of hypertension because he ran into serious bank debt and he does not have any other means of refunding the money back and as a result of that, the bank were after his house, because he used same as collateral security for the loan which he secured from the bank.

  1. That in all the above circumstances, our clients got shock of their lives when they discovered that just two (2) months after the commencement of the lease, the Executive Director had single handedly terminated the leasehold without allowing them to complete the circle or refund their hard earned resources despite repeated demands notwithstanding the fact that the Executive Director had the knowledge that the consideration for the lease were source from the bank by our clients where the interest keep running.
  2. Worrisome by this development, our clients lodged a complaint before our client No.1 as a stakeholder who called the Executive Director pronto but chose to throw caution into the wind by assaulting our client No.1.
  3. Also, worrisome by this development, our client No.1 reported Engr. Taiwo Adewole to the Royal Fathers including Oba Michael Adetoye Obatuga (The Jegun of Idepe-
Okitipupa) but Engr. Taiwo Adewole neglected Oba Obatuga’s call and even ignored to appear in his palace for dialogue.

As it stands, our clients had suffered severe loss as a result of fraudulent activities of the Executive Director Engineer Taiwo Adewole in all the above regards.

Your Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, we therefore have the instruction of our clients to urge you albeit respectfully to set in motion machinery that would carry out concrete investigation in this regard so as to protect the lives and properties of our clients as written in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 2011 (As Amended).
