Odatiwa Women Initiatives: Aiyedatiwa’s Aide, Osamaye engages rural women, elderly in three Ondo North Communities

The recently launched Odatiwa Women Initiatives, spearheaded by the Ondo State Governor’s Special Adviser on Women Affairs, Dr Seun Osamaye, on Tuesday visited three in Ondo North Senatorial districts to alleviate suffering of women in the areas.

The Odatiwa Women Initiatives’ Train  visited Iboropa in Akoko North East, Irun Akoko in Akoko Northwest and Upemen in Owo Local Govt area.

Under the initiative, according to Dr Osamaye, there is a distribution of food and relief materials to women as championed by Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

The SA said the initiative was also aimed at bringing much-needed assistance to the grassroots level.

During the visit to the three Communities, Dr Osamaye said no communities will be left out in the initiative.

She said, “While we welcome suggestions and recommendations from feedbacks  to improve subsequent movement of the initiative, we remain committed to ensuring that Ondo State Women in The rural areas and underserved communities of Ondo State are not left behind. Engagement of Rural and Elderly women continues..!”

Dr Osamaye and her team also visited traditional rulers of the communities for royal blessing.
