Ondo 2024: Don’t embark on cheap blackmail against Aiyedatiwa —Ologbese tells 7 APC aspirants

Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Otunba Dele Ologbese has warned seven aspirants of the party to desist from their gangs up against Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, saying their orchestrated plans against the Governor will not see the light of the day.

Seven governorship aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state had petitioned the national chairman of the party, Abdullahi Ganduje over the revalidation of party membership.

Ologbese in a chat with newsmen said the action of the seven aspirants showed they have already accepted defeat before primary election.

He adds: “No doubt, aspirants like Jimoh Ibrahim, Wale Akinterinwa, Olusola Oke, and four others having seen the handwritings on the wall that roads were already blocked on winning nominations for Party’s sole ticket have resorted to cheap blackmail and false accusations over an exercise that was transparently conducted in the State by the party.

“The aspirants are sinking and they needed help which might not be forthcoming and they have no option other than to express magnanimity in defeat immidiately.”

“The outcome of Local Governments campaigns tours of Governor Aiyedatiwa where he received massive support of party men amd women and masses had clearly demonstrated that he’s aspirant to beat in Saturday’s Primary election.”

“With the super structures already established by Aiyedatiwa in all the Eighteen Local Governments of Ondo State, no forms of alliances, mergers or conspiracies by these seven political actors and their collaborators can thwart his outright victory on Saturday

“All card carrying members of APC assuredly will be going to their respective Local Governments on Saturday for affirmations of Aiyedatiwa as APC candidate for November 2024 general election and nothing more.

“It’s a project already ordained by God Almighty which cannot be overridden or destroyed by any detractive activity,” he said.
